Snowbird in May - late spring get together

In case you havent heard Utah, especailly LCC is have what could be the record season. our snow totals are more than last year already, and this should be a really long season.

So snowbird in may is still really good skiing you can have slush, corn, hard pack, and even sometimes powder. It still snows about 60inches in the month of may.

So who is in? and what dates would be good for you?

Hmmm....

I'm a Utah native, and my birthday is May 16.

Hmmm....

Let me ponder this. Work may have something to say about the time I can take (I work at a university, and May 16 is right around finals time).

Anybody know what Snowbird's going to charge for their spring pass this year? It's a good year to get one.

If you do it the weekend of May 3, I might just have to join in.

Isn't that, like, over in two minutes?

We could have straw hats for the ladies, with a mint julep theme, in Utah?

Boy, Was I DYING for a excuse to go to Utah on the spring! I have a couple of questions that the locals may help me with.

How good of a deal is staying at Snowbird? There are spring season deals for $120/night hotel+lift. Is it worth it staying there? or just better off in SLC?

Also, I don't know how these gatherings work but I wouldn't want to be holding anyone back. I'm a level 6/7 skier but no expert at all. I can hold my own at Taos if that's a good reference

I hope this works out!
