stolen skis

I saw this on Craigs List and almost jumped on it, then thought "if it's too good to be true then something is wrong". I won't buy stolen skis.

I'm not sure those are stolen. The bindings are lower-end bindgings from the late 90s and the skis are an odd length; too short for most men and longer than many women want. Add in the B3s sub-par performance in wet, heavier snows, like you often find at Mt. Hood, and $200 might be all the guy can get. I won a pair of this year's 166cm B78s (AKA B2s) in an auction on this forum for $175.....nobody wanted the 166cm length.

what Rio said, 168 might be a bit short depending on your height, weight and ability.

you might have something there, my length has been in the 180 but everybody does seem to be going shorter.

Yeah, but 168's for a 6', 170# (similar to my build) is WAY too small, especially for a noodle like the B2.

Assuming you're more than a beginner, I'd probably be looking for something a tad longer...

I'm finding that anything less than about 175 in almost ANY ski is shorter than I'd like to be on... I'm 6', 180#. Of course I'm always torn about whether I want a ski I can toss around or vice-versa. Considering I'm getting a bit more adventurous in my terrain choices, I'm sticking with the 175-180, rather than the 180+. It makes for a better day in trees, tight/steep stuff, and bumps.

I'm 5' 11", 180 pounds. I have the B3 in a 176cm length because I opted for what I thought was a shorter length.....I like to ski moguls and trees. I could easily gone up a size.

for me (155, 5'10") the B3 in a 176 is a good length, althought I would use other skis which are slightly shorter, if only doing bumps or trees.
