Well done.

My hands were tied at work waiting on a shipment, and it was beautiful out. So ditched out late in the afternoon and ran up the hill.

Pulled up and figured this would be a nice place to walk the dogs

It goes on like that for 1500 vert 30 degree with a nice view of the lake. Takes a little over an hour to get up.

And dogs love to go snowboarding, Dakota gets amped when you put the board back together

Splitter,

Fantastic . Where it that?

I'm planning on retiring in a couple of years and likely moving to Sandpoint, ID. There is scenery around lake Pend Oreille almost identical to your pictures. I am pretty sure that a couple of dogs are in that future. Your pictures remind me of the options I'm going to have for getting some exercise with the pups and how I can find new employment in the early time of my retirement training them. When we get our dogs I'm going to have to start a thread on training canine ski partners. Actually, maybe I'll start that now - no reason not start living the dream early.

Thanks for contributing so well to my vision of the future .

P.S. Started this thread:

Training canine ski partners and the enjoyment/tribulations thereafter

can't give up stashes . It's a fairly obvious road side attraction in the Tahoe area.

pound puppies

The little black one could be a few different combos. The humane society said rottweiler/shepherd mix. I could kind of see that, but he's a little on the small side. Besides they said that about the brown dog when I got her. I think he's about as mishmashed up as they get.

The brown one is most likely shepherd/norwegian elkhound?

She's gettin' up there, she's 11 this month.

Nice report. Very peaceful.

I see way too many pupy dogs tied up outside of their 1 room dog house.

No better way to exercise the dogs than this. 5 stars for you!
