Ski is making a creaking sound when flexed, what’s up?

I have Salomon 900 carbon bindings mounted professionally on 187cm Bluehouse District skis.
I am a 260 lb expert skier.

After one of the most glorious powder days I have ever had, I began to notice that my left ski was making a creaking sound when it was flexed. I could not find anything obviously loose on the binding and it continued to ski fine. Now whenever I flex the ski it makes the creaking sound.

What do you think is up? Ski problem? Binding problem or no problem at all?
Thanks

Are you sure it's not your boots?

Maybe oiling the binding will help, otherwise I second Lonnie's question

It even does it when I hand flex them. Seems to be coming from the tail of the ski or from the heal piece of the binding.
Thanks

unscrew the binding and see if it still makes noise

I have some Districts with about 5 days on them. I'm 180# and they are soft skis for me (which is ideal for what I got them for.) They are up in my locker so I can't do any flexing to see if they make funny sounds. I have noticed they sound different (and a bit odd) when hitting ice chunks on runs.....similar to what the old Hexcel skis and Head vacuum core skis sounded like....but I wrote that off as a trait of the bamboo core.

My railflex bindings squeek a bit, especially on pow days. I think it's just snow getting in and around the binders. You may want to check and see if it's not your knee that's creeking.

: Hexcel were Honeycomb design & Head Vac? Reminds me of the newer Atomics with the Beta design. On real wet snow they would whistle.

Looks like it may have been the binding after all! I lubed the bindings this morning and they were still creaking when I hand flexed them, however tonight it pretty much stopped guess the lube just needed some time to soak in. Thanks for the input guys; I’ll post again if the issue comes back next time I am out skiing.

Rio- I think the bamboo does sound different on the bluehouse skis and that it is just part of the ski’s personality. The sound I was hearing was different, (walking on really old loose floor boards in a horror movie comes to mind) but looks to be resolved for now

Thanks again

As an added note,
I should add that I am quite happy with the performance of the Districts for the kind of skiing I intended to use it for. It is fairly soft but even with my 260lb’s rockn it, I am not blowing them out, which is a bit perplexing considering a soft ski for a >180lb guy is typically to soft for me, not so with the Districts. Must be the magic of bamboo?
