My girlfriend & I have been bouncing between shops trying to find a boot for her. So far the best fit are the Dalbello Storm & Storm ID. I was intrigued when I found out the Storm ID has an Intuitive lining & would like to go with that. One shop only had the Storm ID in a 23.5. When they shell sized she had barely a finger's width extra room. When she tried the boot on her toes were touching even when buckled in. The guy insisted the Intuitive liner will mold allowing her more toe room. At the next shop they didn't have a 24 in an ID but they did for the normal Storm. They seemed to be a good fit with her toes touching the end when she put them on but allowing her enough room to wiggle them when buckled in. The guy there said the Intuitive liner will actually expand a bit after it is heated up. Is that true? Also, when shell sizing how much room should be behind the heel?
