Can anyone recommend a great PSIA Level III or Examiner level instructor at Sunday River? I checked the Epic Ski instructor list, but there's nobody on there for Maine. Thanks in advance.

They've got a bunch of examiner types up there. Pete Howard for one.

Give Merritt Phillips a try. She was in my L3 exam and was really good.

I think Peter is out of Sugarloaf-I think Rick Skelley is out of Sunday.
There is another guy that just made Dev team his name is Kevin but I can't recall his last name right now.

Thanks for the leads...I'll call the ski school and investigate. I imagine even without "Kevin's" last name, they'll probably be able to figure out which one he is. Will check on the others as well.

Hi All:

Would it be Kevin Trinward? Just guessing since I picked the only Kevin out of the PSIA-e dev team roster list.

If you get a chance to ski with him you'll be glad you did.

Sorry ...

A3 - Alpine Level 3 (what I think is of interest to you)

S3 - Snowboard Level 3

D3 - Nordic Downhill Level 3 ("Telemark")

Basically if you can strap it to your feet, he's "all over it". Great personality too. Fun to ski with.
