We had awesome skiing in Western Mass today. Started out as classic NE hardpack, got softer and softer as the day went on, approaching corn snow. Nice soft crud, no mush. Great day!

Go Pats!!!!

It was a good day in the hills. Even some heavy snow at times. Can't get any better ... last run, in at 4:15. shower, grabbed a couple of beers and now the game.

Hopefully going to see 19 and 0.

Cheers!

May the best team LOSE. I'm for the GIANTS today since they bet the Cowboys. I lived in NY form 84-89 and enjoyed two SuperBowl wins.

Skiing? It's hot as he!! here too. I'm going up tomorrow and expect to come home with my feet all pruned up. But, weekday skiing RULZ, no lines and the only gaper will be skiing with me, taking a friend from church. He is scotch guarding his jeans righ now hahaha!

The pats have already won.

This NFL season was stagged, in the same warehouse where they did the moon landing.

See you in the right section.

Go Pats too. I want to see the table run.

OK here's the Giant's plan. They will put Randy Moss's girlfriend in the endzone so he won't be able to go there because of the restraining order!

She's on I.R.

Typical Pats game so far..the other team trades field goals for touchdowns.

Troll here:

Nothing personal against the Patriots. A perfect season and championship would be pretty cool.

But, spoiling it would be even cooler!

What a boring game.

Boring?! Anything but boring, the score was close throughout the entire game and in the last quarter the Giants were able to regain the lead. Amazing game.

Go Giants! Wow what a game...

Pats looked pretty flat and never got off the green runs.

Notice the time I chimed in -- well before the half. It was boring. It was boring right up to the last three minutes. Close does not equal exciting if nothing is happening.

You, my friend, are not a true football fan. Any close game is sick. Defense wins championships and this game proved it.

Go Big Blue!!!!!

And lack of scoring doesn't mean that nothing is happening.

You probably think baseball is boring unless a lot of home runs are being hit.

You got that right. I lost interest in football a few years ago when it became more about "the show" than the game. It has crossed the threshold into "sports entertainment" now. I'm very disappointed in the game as it comes closer and closer to the attitude of the NBA, which I can't even begin to comment on. It's embarrassing really - rarely a week goes by where you don't read about one of these "fine athletes" doing something REALLY stupid and illegal - and these guys are the best of the best... Overpaid and undersmart.

:

EDIT: I am a Vikings fan, and they epitomize DUMBASS off-field behavior. That might be part of the reason behind my dis-enchantment. Other Vikings fans will understand - boat cruise anyone??

Hockey is the last sport I've got left.

Yep. But I do like going to Saint Paul Saints games. Northern League is FUN. Twins = Meh. Pohlad just gutted that team, but hey - at least he's getting his tax-payer funded stadium!! :

Eh, I suppose I can't argue with that. The time was off for my timezone until I logged in so that didn't help much either haha.

nothing happening?!?!?!?

the defense was happening. Sacks, hits, pressure in Brady's face, completely stopping NE's run game, good coverage down field. It was a well played defensive battle and, imo, very exciting the entire game.
I agree that it was a good game. Besides the Great Manning Escape, the game was decided by the Giants Defensive line outplaying the Patriots Offensive line. I've never seen Brady with so little time in the pocket - it was quite startling actually.

Yep. Defensive battles don't equate to really exciting games in my eyes. YMMV. Sorry if you don't see it my way, that's fine. I never asked you to.

I thought it was a boring game right up until the last quarter. No one will convince me otherwise. But I'm not trying to convince anyone to come to my camp either. It is what it is.

Freaking excellent Big Blue.

Patsies 18-1. When it counted, -1.
Rumor has it the Pats lost because they were reviewing the wrong stolen footage of a Giants walk-through practice.
The Giants changed their signals for the bowl, LOL! Also they had Moss's girlfriend sitting endzone seats so he couldn't go within 100 feet of her because of the restraining orders
post #28 of 29
Not a Giants fan, but I can't stand Belichick or Moss, so I opted to root for the "nice" team. Go Giants!!
