Marker Duke (Blizzard) brakes too short

I have the Blizzard version of the Duke on the Argos ski. I'm not sure if it is taller than the regular Duke. The brake levers are approx 9 cm long. The skis will not lock together when carried (only an inconveinience). They are also not long enough to stop the ski if it comes off! I called Blizzard and they said it is the only brake Marker makes for it (in two widths). Before I call Marker I want to see if anyone else has this issue.

Do you have te Cronus or the Argos?

I have the Cronus and mine don't lock together either although over time, they seem to have become trained and fit together better than they used to. I think part of the trouble though is that the brakes may be too wide, I'd like to try narrower brakes.

Argos, I think width is fine. I have several pairs of skis in my garage, fat, skinny, raised, flat. These have the shortest brakes (approx 92 mm).

I have the same skis. Same bindings. I agree, they should be longer.

that pisses me off with the duke also
whenever i put them together they fall apart and the bottoms get scratched in the car because they're always exposed
i haven't lost one skiing yet but putting them on sometimes they don't grab
it's really annoying but i love the binding though
