I'm pretty confident that in the year 2011 a lack of rocker is a disqualifier for calling something a powder ski. I'm not gonna say it can't be used well in the right hands. Not saying someone can't have fun on it in powder. But yeah, being realistic, calling a ski without rocker as a key design element a "powder ski" is pretty off the mark.
Sorry, spin, that's more than a little like saying "calling a bike without full suspension a mountain bike is pretty off the mark".
Was just talking to a Swiss couple with their RTCs coming off Falcon chair. By their lights anything with a turned-up tip is a "powder" ski.
