There are so many factors that can cause scaring. Previous scaring and damage, the surgery, time before bending, the individual, age, consistent pt ...and many more. I am actually amazed at the different recovery times, methods and so on. It is clear to me at my early stage (close to 4 weeks out) that I don't know what to expect, lol. I am hoping to be one of the quicker recoveries, but I will take every little victory until then. I do know one thing, previous athletes and competitive people tend to make quicker gains, but also have a tendency to push to hard and reinjure or have setbacks. As one of those people, I must have patience but be diligent. at the same time.
So, how did the transition from inpatient PT to home go?
