I haven't been on the forum for a while. Just read through and caught up with everyone. It seems that recovery is happening for all of us. It's just a pain in the a**! Changed my Life, sounds like your doing great. Love stories about boating, fishing etc. Welcome Oldtoolguy. I am now 11 days postop and recovery is going well, better than expected. I can do full weight bearing on my injured leg, orthopod said that was ok. There is very little pain and I can lift my leg four or five inches without pain or a pulling sensation. I am doing upper body work outs and I think that is helping to activate my quad even though I am not directly exercising it. I have no need for crutches but my wife has to put on my left sock for me until I can bend the knee. I will be seeing my orthopod for my first followup on the 26th of this month, just two days away. I'm really hoping to get out of this straight leg brace. I don't know if that is unrealistic or not, but I'm hoping for that. Even a small ability to bend my knee would make life so much more normal. Really looking forward to hobbling down my dock ramp and getting in my boat. I wish you all well, love reading your posts.
