I was surprised at how quickly the progression to my version of "being active". By the end of week 7, I could go all the way around on a stationary bike so I really took advantage of that. Week 8, my PT guy put me on the elliptical, and graduallly it has gotten better since. My surgery was Sept. 16th and I still can't do more than an "old man jog" but my OS said that is normal and that my repair should be 100% at 6 months (March '11) and then I should be able to do some sprinting.
