look pivot 10 binding settings

Thread Starter
I recently purchased some used skis with look pivot 10 bindings. I took them to the shop to have them set to my weight, skiing ability and boot size. The tech said they couldn't do them because my boots were made out of a material that expands and contracts with the heat and cold so I am going to do them myself. Does anyone know what setting I should put them at for a 185 lbs and an lower level advanced skier. Thanks for your help.

What kind of boots and where are you located?

Almost any material expands when hotter and contracts when colder, including the soles of ski boots. Bindings, including the Look P10, which I have on my Rossi Bandit B2s, allow for this in the heel unit.

Go to another shop. Talk to someone who understands how bindings work; this guy doesn't.
