5 hours sitting on an interstate to ski? Er, no thanks. Did a 4 hour version of that one time, do not want to do it again. One of the most polluted metro areas in the country? Nah, I'll pass.
Too many people with too little foresight using too many cars. Not a problem that is going away anytime soon. Certain to get worse before it gets better. Silly toll proposals sparking bizarre and pointed comments about topics so crucial and directly related to skiing as the federal income tax, all in the name of more quickly getting to a high speed quad on a golf course with a half hour wait.
Yeah, sign me right up. The way of life seems to be doing wonders for mental health up there.
Not even a bus system? Smart. Reap what you sow, sit in your expensive federally funded parking lot. As to my insightful comments, let me spell it out for you: If you live in a flat valley several hours of interstate away from your destination, you are a touron. The only difference between you and someone from Minnesota is that the out of state guy can't be blamed for your piss poor transit planning.
