Vail, the day after ESA Aspen/Snowmass

Thread Starter
Last night after ESA-Snowmass, Brian (bshon) and I (raspritz) drove back to my house in Frisco. Today we skied Vail in truly epic powder conditions, mostly out-of-bounds past Blue Sky Basin (watch out for the cliffs!!!!). Untracked, untracked, untracked, run after run, finished off by Prima Cornice (double-black Extreme) in chest-deep powder. Whooweeeee.

Tomorrow, Breck or Keystone.

raspritz, nice shots! Sounds like a great time!

For tomorrow, check out the A-Basin et. al. thread in the Gatherings forum... the gang is meeting up at Summit House at Keystone at 10am tomorrow.

Nice photos Raspritz! I was in Vail there too and it was as awesome as you described. Spent the whole day on the backside starting from Ricky's Ridge all the over to Inner Mongolia bowl (always tons of powder there!). Blue Sky is truly heavenly on soft snow days.
