Ivica goes down, causes course delay while being removed, course workers don't clear newly fallen snow, and Bode ends up 4th.

Bode has a good attitude about it all, and it seems the outrage is mostly from Rossi and the US coaches. I'm just glad Bode is turning it around in slalom. A couple podiums in tech events and some solid finishes in speed events and he'll be well on his way to the overall.

Bode showed some class today. He did not claim that the delay hurt him ,but gave credit to those who overtook him by complementing them on their great second runs. He is well liked, and says it like it is. Looking forward to the rest of the season. On another note, just read that Nicole Hosp broke her ankle while jogging. Another competitor for Anja on to the injured list.

I don't know the exact number, but it seems that if you totaled the surgeries both brother and sister Kostelic have had, it comes out to a fairly high number.

It seems to me the injuries have been higher among top-seed racers this season. So many racers and teams poised at the edge of greatness are getting thrown back a step by it.

Just to add to the list of injured, I just heard that Lasse Kjus' season now may be in jeopardy. He hurt is right knee landing after a high and long flight at Kitzbuehl (Mousfalle) last Saturday and had taken three days off to rest. One-and a half minute into his training run at Garmish he again landed hard after a long jump and immediately had to come to a stop. Without being able to handle jumps, he will be totally out of the running for the overall as he depends mainly on his SG and DH abilities to score some serious points.

DUDE!!! You gave it away! My life is ruined. May this lie heavily on your conscience.
