So did anyone experience the ridiculous amount of snow we had this weekend north of Barrie. I don't know about other places, but Mount St Louis-Moonstone received at least 1/2 meter of snow. On Saturday they got 10-15 cm, but on Sunday they had another 35-40 cm (weather forecast said 2-5 cm).

Getting there Sunday morning was a white knuckle affair, but once they managed to open the lifts, it was quite the experience. Unfortunately I showed up with SL skis (i.Supershapes), but that did not dampen my experience. In wind-blown areas the snow was right up to our thighs. I don't believe I ever experienced snow billowing over my shoulders quite like that. Just wow.

Anyone else managed to get some of this powder?
