Um, though I may be tarred and feathered by my cronies at The Bowl, I will mention, in the interest of being a contributing member of this community, that this neck of the woods is experiencing its best season in the past decade.

7" of cold smoke today (we've been having frosty cold weather ), which translates into better than 14" where it drifts on the leeward sides of the ridges. Entirely bomber. I rode the first chair today, and my knees got chilled by the snow on my first run down West Bowls. It was sureal, and there's more to come. :

If anyone has ever been interested in skiing here, this would be a good season to come.
