I have heard a couple of things about high fluoro waxes which are a small concern. Other than using a low heat when applying and having adequate ventilation are there any issues to do with base care with using high fluoro wax? I have heard things like you have to completely clean out all the wax after a few applications. Your thoughts?

I heard the same thing, so I asked our Technical Director about it. He spent many years tuning on the World Cup and still has the fastest sksi at Kitz. He told me there is no problem leaving high flouro wax on the skis. It will not eat away the base. When you want to layer on a low flouro or hydro wax is when you need to remove the high flouro. You can ski it off, or you will need to hot scrape it off. You don't need to go as far as using a wax remover.
