Attitash Stashes

post #1 of 7

Ok, so I know that it's not really kosher for locals to give up stashes, but I will be skiing Attitash quite a bit this season and I'm wondering if I can get any advice on where to go. Maybe consider it places most people who ski there know, but a noob wouldn't. I dunno, I don't know the mountain at all and was just wondering what's been cleared, where the steep shots and drops are, etc. Any help would be appreciated!

Just go around looking in the areas between trails. Look for tracks, clear areas, etc.

Jay;

You seem like the kind of person that will find some locals to tag along with when you get there. Also, ask a patrol to show you what is "in" and "out".. then go "out" when the minute they are out of sight... he he he

Yea, no worries. Im sure that I'll figure it out, just thought I'd throw out a line and see if anything bit. The Patrol idea is a good one though, I've already been wondering how strict they are about going out of bounds, ducking ropes, etc. Asking where not to go and then going there may just have to be the plan!
