Look PX/Rossi Axial OR Marker Jester?

What is your experience w. these two bindings?
I've heard Jester has very solid (race-like) grip - how about Look?
What about weight, durability, etc.
The tail piece looks similar in construction, the Marker looks more high-teck...

Intended use for freeride in ~90MM width, 160lb skier (don't need that 16 DIN in fact)
Any thoughts?

I love my Marker Dukes. They are the same as the Jesters but with the touring function. I like the wider mount. IMO it seems to get the wider skis on edge a little quicker. Can't go wrong with the Looks either.

The Jesters are still unproven, and if you don't need the hign DIN of the Jesters why bother?

I like the function of the Jester better than the PX. There is supposed to be a less expensive 12 DIN unit on the way. Of course that doesn't help you now.

yep, need to decide now.
So, what you mean by "function better"?

The Look has a lot of ramp angle, the Jester has almost none. The Jester is going to give excellent edge control with a wide ski, the Look isn't too shabby, either. The Look has tons of elastic travel and should be WAY cheaper. The Jester is lighter and looks cooler.

I am trying to make the same decision. I am looking at the px14's or the jesters. 14s are 200 and jesters 250 where i found them. Problem is they are going on some legend Pros and i think the jesters only come with a 90 mm brake. If someone knows they could be bent easily for the LPs or a cheap place to get the 110mm brakes they seem like more for your money. Thanks.

The jester brake and the Duke brake is interchangeable. Stretching the 90mm to go around LP wouldn't be a problem, I just mounted a Duke on a lotus 120 and didn't really do anything to the brake, that's a 110mm on a 120mm waist. No problem.

I don't think this is the right. Marker is making some wider brake sizes for the Jester that should easily accomodate the LP

thanks for the tip. Would you recommend the jester over the rossi's then. They had the scratch 140s and the Dynastars px14 tis (same binding?) The ones with the legend graphics. Price difference is negligible as i have a 40 buck gift card to the place with the jesters. Sorry i hope i'm not hi-jacking this thread. I was just getting ready to post the same thing. Thanks

Easier to live with. Easier getting in and out. Less sensitive to snow.

Yep. Second this in all accounts

Go with the Jesters. The shorter span of the toe piece will allow your ski to have a more true flex pattern.

thanks. I did end up going with the jesters. If anyone is looking for some, Lakewood and Park Meadows Dick sporting goods have them for like $240. I am sure other ones do as well but i didn't call them.
