Leaving your gear outside question - Page 3

I ski K2 Apache Recons. Even when they were fairly new, I would either separate them, or put them next to a similar sized set of the latest "hot" ski that was not locked. I figure a crook can fly below the radar with 1 set in their hands, but probably not 2. Sorry if you were the guy next to me who lost a set of skis. One of the benefits to being a "late adopter".

Funny you should say that the Oregon state police has placed bait skis with transmitters in them out and then stoped the the crooks down the road.

The big risk with recons is someone taking yours instead of theirs. As old as those skis are I probably see more of them than any other single model of ski, or maybe I just notice them because I still use mine. And a lot of the folks who ski them, including me, have, shall we say, memory issues.

(I've been known to try to get into someone else's champagne 2005 Forester.)

Yeah, I lock my Recons.  There's a ton of them.  I think I also have stickers on them...or it is on the Outlaws?
