Here is my situation. My family has been going to Whistler for spring break for years. My sons and I can ski most of mt.(not everything, but most) My wife is a terminal beginner/low intermediate. In Whistler, it works out as other friends come that are similar and we hook up for a few runs, before and after lunch. This year, we and friends decide to go to Utah. Friends end up backing out and now we're committed. Wife owuld be ok at PCMR (home run) and Deer Valley (Success run). Problem is a family we know, who are good skiers are staying at Snowbird. Kids and I would like to ski with them a couple of days. I've skiied Snobird, but never really paid much attention to green runs, aside from Big Emma. As a reference, my wife would probably consider that as the hardest run she could ski, hopefully. I took her to the Canyons once without having previously noticed that they have very few green runs. The blues are not hard, but apparently too hard for my wife who proceeded to yell and curse at me once she was stuck on blue runs. Her favorite run at Whistler is Easy Out, which she can do a few times and then call it a day. In any event, anyone familiar enuf with easy runs at Snowbird to tell me if I'm asking for major trouble or not, in even taking her there? P.S. My wife has a lesson each year for last 10 years. She is still getting worse and more timid. I do not expect that to change.
