Check it out; I won a contest that I entered at mywhistler.com!!! (I think I even told everyone the website under the topic "contests"). "prize package for 4 people includes 5 nights accommodation in a 2 bedroom suite or condo at a property to be designated by Tourism Whistler and four 4-day lift tickets."
Woo-Hooo!!!!

: Yipee have a great time and tell us all about it!

Congratulations, it couldn't have happened to a more deserving person. Now you have to find 3 guests to go with you. Ahem... did I mention that I enjoy taking long walks on the beach, romantic dinners and that I'm a good listener. I also enjoy free-loading ski trips off of strangers. As luck would have it, my schedule is clear whenever you decide to hit Whistler.

That just plain rocks! I've entered every one of these contests I can find and have come up empty so far. I'm due

Mrs. Skicrazy & I won an Aspen/Snowmass vacation last winter!

Congratulations and remember, Mrs. Skicrazy & I speak Canadian so if you need an interpreter.......

Congrats!! Didn't know anybody ever won those things.

When you going? A few of my ski buddies and I are planning on heading up there for a long weekend sometime this winter. More or less to slide on the big mountiains, and well, the nightlife.

sorry Skicrazy.. I don't think I'll be needing your services, since I am Canadian!!!!!! I find it funny though how suddenly everyone is your best friend when you win a trip like this. All of my friends are begging me to take them!! But, I think I will do the RIGHT thing and take my dad and sister.

Well done rossi!
When are you planning to go? If it is in early December, then you could meet up with me, Cheeky, the Rat, and a few others. If it was January onwards, I know of at least one person that will be there.

Wow, you are lucky! I decided the other day that I am just an unlucky person, I never win anything. I once one a free sprite. And once I won one lift ticket to the local mountain. Maybe my luck is saving itself up and I will someday win something big.

Hi Tara,
Since you seem a bit down at the fact that you haven't won anything, I thought I would have a little competition, and you'll never guess what...
Congratulations, you have won a night out with ME. That is something big!
All you have to do is be in Solitude, Alta, or SLC some evening between 25th January and 7th February for a night you'll never forget. (people have tried psychiatry, or hypnosis, but no matter how hard they try, or how much they want to, they will never forget a night out with me)

Hey Rossi,

I was going offer to be your Dad since it seems a lot of your new best friends are guys, but your are doing the right thing. Oh, by the way, with your Dad and sis, don't you need more to fill the quota? ......

So are you looking for a date, or a designated driver?

Tara,
My taxi driver has just volunteered to drive us, that means both of us can have 4 pints

Congrats on winning!!

I won a season pass to Jay Peak last year. Sad thing is I live in PA, about 8 hours away. I emailed the director of marketing, Chis Veillon, about possibly trading it in for a weekend stay w/lift tickets or another prize (like the skis, wink-wink) I could use. I never heard back and never received the pass in the mail. I would have liked to have had it just for a keepsake even if I never made it up there. Yeah well....

What would people think about a forum for posting current ski related contests they find on the internet? I personally like entering these things whenever I find them as long as they are legit. Roboform type applets make it a snap to fill out the entry forms. Just a thought.

Here's one I found... http://salomoncontest.com/

AtomicMark--

Next time you win something like that, take it and sell it, or have a contest and GIVE IT AWAY on EpicSki!!! At least it would have been used.
I won a 3 day ski trip to Alta in 1996. Plane fare, Hilton stay, all ground transportation included. What a trip. I was still a beginner though.

Can't wait for the rematch!

hey buddy! sorry.. I'm a vegetarian...
An update to the "saga": i can't go during Spring break because it is a black-out period. So, I have to take a guess at a good time to miss school.. prob end of March. I figure the snow will still be good, and I can get a tan! My parents have both pulled out b/c they would rather spend $$ on renovating their house, than buying plane tickets. My sis is in as long as she has no exams, and so is her bf, and a certain guyfriend of mine..... should be excellent!!!

The really cool thing about you winning this contest is you are the one who posted it for everyone else to enter in the "contests" thread!

I was hoping I posted it originally, then you would be obligated to at least let me sleep on the floor of your free condo for a night or two
