My favorite ski area by far never been to the rockies)

Family wants to go 4 or maybe 5 all skiers.....

Unfortunately Feb 15-18 or 19 is likely only dates....

I know this will break the bankbut to break it as little as possible what would you sugarbush fans recommend....??

I've stayed at the Lion and liked it....is that even a possibility on short notice?

Deals on tickets? Packages?

If you would be so kind as to give up anything you have please....

This would be a good week to check on deals - we've had a bit of warm weather (to put it mildly!)...Weather is supposed to turn back around this weekend, but if you're deal searching, I would call the Lion today and see if they want to wrangle at all.

You can also check here: http://forums.skimrv.com/

For packages I think your only option is to book directly thru Sugarbush. You can also check out Vt Ski Areas Association for deals:

Hope that helps and hope the weather turns around soon!

I rented a private condo at SB last year, through craigslist. Try the Boston and Vermont craigslist boards for current listings, and if you're interested I could scour my old emails and find the contact for the guy I rented from to see if he's offering for the week you're interested in. It was on the mountain at Sugarbush - very reasonable pricing and good space for a family group.

Ticket discounts are hard to come by at Sugarbush. On their website they list off-site discount dealers, maybe some down in R.I. and for sure some in Boston. We bought off-site in Burlington since one of our group flew in through there.

One advantage if you book through Sugarbush directly is - at least last year - they offered a combo ticket deal for SB and Mad River. Only one I could find (but could not use).

The off site discount tiks are also good for any day of the season.

As mentioned thru the Bush a ski package is a good deal. 1-800-53-SUGAR. One perk is that you get free access to the Sugarbush Health & Racquet Club. With 4 people a one bdroom condo with sofabed will get you the best price. They all have full kitchens and fireplace.

The closer to the slope the more expensive. Center Village and Village Gate are walking distance to the slopes and lower prices. Powderhound is near the Golden Lion and are small 1 bR condos with efficiency kitchens and very reasonable prices. The free shuttle hits all these places.
