I headed down to Kwood from the weekend after our day at SB.

Probably leave SB right around noon since I have to drive back and pickup MrsStormday and the kids.

pming you my digits...

Good chance I will be skiing solo for the 1st 1.5 hrs on Sat. Give me a ring when you get into the valley. We are staying in a condo at the base.

Most likely if the roads are open which looks good at this time. The wife is feeling a bit under but I plan on seeing the new stuff, hopefully she will revive in time or I am on my own:, god help us!

Ok. I'll be on red mantras. I'll probably be on FRS channel 11-7 as well since there will be a bunch of us up. If there is even a little of this off the hook snow left it's going to be another amazing weekend on the slopes.

Come on... they only got 11 feet from this storm. How could it be any good at all?

We'll be seeing you guys at Sugar Bowl and I will probably be at Kirkwood. I need to get into some kind of shape for the ESA at Snowmass. Sunday was great but that deep heavy snow reminded me I have a ways to go this year.

Adam, not that radios are so great or anything, but I'm thinking of adopting the maggot channel 5-13. Its a GMRS channel with higher wattage and range.

damn it sounds like a KW Konklave!

i haven't yet decided what i'm doing post SB.

was gonna come back to SF, but also considering the weekend (sadly the cabin familia is rented and i slacked on getting a camper shell, so it would be cheap motel actionay).

also i'm headed to T'Ride on the 16th, so may just save myself as i'll be there for 4 days, then to Summit County, then to JH & Targhee, then Utah...then back to T'Hoe by the 8th! whew.

Well, you can crash at my Tahoe City ski lease if you want. Guest fees are only $20. First priority on beds goes to members, but I've never seen more than ~7 up there and we have beds for 20.

I'll most likely be there on Saturday, trying to free up my weekend plans since we were there last week. I'll be on orange dyna 8800's white parka.

I'll be on black Mantra or orange w/ tip protector 194 LPs wearing a green softshell if the weather holds.

Mantra are stickered up and LP's sticker asks a question.

Adam, are you going to be on your 11-7 radio channel or switch re: Cirque's rec.

Dookey, I got out on my spats finally, it was very neat, amazing how they loved the pow, and how they handled crud like it was nuthin.

I still need to get my BRO's mounted up and ski those. I am hoping they won't overlap much, otherwise I'll sell one or the other.

I guess it depends on if CR is going to be there (re: what channel). I'm not mag enough for mag channel yet. I haven't hucked anything life-threatening. I need to re-program my radio so I have that channel available, though. For Sat. at least I'll try to stick to 11-7.

I will be solo. Hope to meet up with ya'll. On either the chiefs, probably, or the snoops, only if powder is gone. Light green soft shell, grey helmet, yellowish boots, grey mustashio, small backpak, 5ft 2, eyes of blue, oh wait that was another song. If I don't get lost, on the drive, ice arena at 9am.

Mark

p.s. Dookey! you alive yet?

With the forecast, I'll probably being were my orange hard shell and on my LPs.
The LPs were crushing the frozen chicken heads today. Good choice
I hope KW is a bit softer. My kids took my radios, so I'm guessing I can find the group using cell phones.

I'll have my phone on me.

I'll probably be on my 183 or 192 Bro's tomorrow. White Aegix jacket...white pants (nearly invisible...heh). I'll be lapping Chair 6 in the morning and then might head OB into Thunder Bowl or West Shore.

MrsStormDay and I had a good day skiing with abertsch.

We'll be at Kirkwood on Sun (1/13) skiing with our 5 yr old. I'll probably break away and ski by myself for 1.5 hrs.

If anyone is up a kirkwood and would like to meet up, let me know.

I'll be wearing a green soft shell and on green Elan M777 tomorrow.

Hey Guys and Gal!

I was up at Kirkwood on Saturday, I carpooled and we got up there a little late so I missed the 9am meet time. After we got part of the carpool over to timbercreek we headed over to the backside and was amazed that the record crowd was all over the mountain with monsterlines at Sunrise. We darted back and did most of our runs on Cornice and Reut. The snow was good considering, and a huge contrast from last Sunday! There was a magic time around 1-3 when things softened up.

I did see Adam at the end of the day. I think I might of saw Tyrone, white jacket and pants and neon flo poles? I was going to ask for some change but he jetted off.

How was the drop in to the Wall. We were going to run it but decided to run 11 and 6 instead.

Hope to see you guys at the upcoming Kirkwood gathering.

We did two runs on the wall in the afternoon. As it turned out it had softened up pretty nicely (nice enough for us to go back, anyway...). Really good day today at Alpine. I bet kirkwood was nice as well.

Monster traffic on 89 backed up all the way to the alpine access road, so I decided not to fight it and headed back to Tahoe City. I'll drive in to work early in the morning.

yep, that was most likely me. I didn't get there Saturday until late (10:30?) due to the traffic, but once there, our little crew had some fun.

Here's a TR of our day:
