I took a spill yesterday at Vail where my binding did release but not in time to prevent a day - if not season (fingers crossed) - ending knee twist. This isn't the first time my bindings failed to release when I think they should have. I'm about 5' 10", 180lbs, DIN set at 7. I suspect there might be too much forward pressure since the bindings don't always lock down right away...sometimes need to step down and then up a bit before they lock in...although the shop guys said it was the right amount. So can I get some feedback on whether easing back the forward pressure might help a quicker release or would this necessarily be a DIN issue?
