I recently got a pair of Head WC i.Supershape (2007) in 165cm with FF+14 bindings. The skis are the non-RD stock model with the CP13 (13mm) plate and I thought that would be enough for decent (fun-)carving. I just used the skis for 4 days at Lake Tahoe (Northstar) and was very impressed with the performance except for a bunch of boot-outs.

To avoid boot-outs in the future, I was thinking of adding at least another 10-20mm to the skis. What's the easiest way to do this? Can I just replace the CP13 plate with something much thicker that will retain the flex? Should I use raisers under the bindings? How have other people handled this, as I'm sure I'm not the only one having boot-outs with a binding as low as it is on the Supershape...

Thanks in advance,
