Boy, he sure has been taking off a lot of work days and skiing with you. Seems like you guys are getting serious. :

Tell him he better be careful or I may start dating his wife. : Oh, was I not supposed to say that. You didn't know he was married? LOL

I knew there was a reason I frequented these message boards.

All this time I was mistakenly under the impression that DonDenver was MY boyfriend. Come to find out, he's been a 2-timing SOB. The horror! I don't know if I can ski any more this season I am so distraught.

Speaking of which, Harkin Banks and Harkin Banks Jr. were gracious enough to play tour guide to me and Jgiddyup at their home mountain Grand Targhee today.

They gave us the grand tour, sought out secret stashes, snapped some action (and inaction) shots, and were patient enough to wait while I caught my breath in the wake of sucking their vapor trails.

The day was cut short, however, when 110mph winds finally kicked up over the ridge. All the lifts were shut down except for the beginner lift. And yes, we went over there, rode it, and straight slayed the double greens.

PS
Lib Tech skis rule. Day 2 on my hot pink, screaming monkey, krinkle kut french fry edged bad boys and I'm lovin' 'em. Y'all should consider a pair. Seriously. Just ignore the fact that LT labels them "Narrow A$$ Snowboards."

I’m excited to ski with my girlfriend (Tsavo) and I hope my wife (Betsy) does not find out about it.

PS...Madmike stay out of our little threesome. I'm fine with my current situation. Tsavo in the Mountains, Betsy in Denver.

PSS...dookey...I'm fine with you joining in

I'm a little surprised that Dookey is involved in this skiing misconduct, but not that there's anything wrong with that

So all of you need to bring this to Breck with TreckChick on Monday and just get it out in the open:

Pictures please

Aren't you the guy who has a history of his "pole dropping" ?

Wouldn't Tsavo or Betsy be the better sources of that answer?

We had a new inductee into the "pole dropping" group today.

I had to cut out early due to work commitments, not to mention the face-freezing gale-force winds. Plus Chair 6 was closed.

I was fortunate to ski with my girlfriend (tsavo) and then find my wife (Betsy) excited to see me after getting home late. Boy, do I ever lead a charmed life as I’m thankful you both tolerate me

Faisasy; unbelievable as it would seem, but usual for Breckenridge I suppose, as the wind abruptly abated with Chair 6, T-Bar and Imperial opening up...go figure! Nevertheless, great to ski with you again today but for only a few runs.

Trekchick; had a wonderful time skiing with you, husband and friends. BTW, that ‘Mr. Trekchick’ really got after it today…and I was envious of his helmet…let’s work to get him out here again!

vail snopro; [boots do fit better second time on ] My good fortune to ski with you today…look forward to skiing with you soon.

Chuck C; [Uncle Louie, this is your old friend at Breck…a 23 year instructor who can rip those peaks] thank you for the freeski time and guide you gave us…superb spots found as we closed out the day.

cgeib; appreciated your lead with our end of day drills as well as tactics for those bumps and trees. I’ll apply this Thursday

Will anyone still be around next week on Monday?

I am on call on Sunday but off on Monday. VSP? Will you be free then? Haven't seen you in ages!

dp- sorry my friend, I'm back to the flatlands on Saturday.

It was a great day to meet new friends and enjoy a little new snow. Breck sure lived up to it's reputation, as it was a howling wind which greeted us that morning. We may have even picked up a new member for epic; if he joins, we'll let him introduce himself.
As always, it was a treat to ski with my old friends tsavo, faisasy, and cgeib again.
And it was no less of a treat to meet trekchick, Mr. trekchick, DD, John (friend of trekchicks), Jim, and the others (names are slipping me... heck, its 2:30am...you really expect me to remember names at this time?)

Tomorrow (Tuesday) its off to Copper to ski again with tsavo, gerathlete and Mrs. gerathlete, cgeib, Tom Burch (yes he does still live and breathe) and whomever else wishes to join us in Jack's at 9am.

I'm hoping my boots fit a little bit better after not having worn them but a few days in the past year. I honestly believe it was my feet shaping to the boots yesterday, rather than the way it is supposed to be. At times it was excruciatingly painful. No doubt they'll fit perfectly on Friday afternoon, just as I'm packing to head back to Tejas.

So, if you are reading this, and it's not yet 9am on Tuesday morning, get yourself up to Copper and join us!
