If I extrapolate out the data to half my weight, I have to move the binding and my boot and leg 85 to 90 degrees. That would be a 50-50 weight distribution using the fattest spring. My leg would be parallel with the ski. hmm
Too bad you cannot get a spring twice as strong. I would not be able to, while in my living room, touch my ski with my knee pad or get past parallel. hmm
Why not use a pneumatic/hydraulic spring? You could make the thing non-linear. You could make the next 10 or 15 degrees do an asymptote and never have your kneepad ever reach the ski no matter what the pressure.
