Family skiing at Breck for four days mid Jan. Is the "best" pricing still at king Soopers/Safeway in Denver area to purchase lift tickets?

Thanks,

My first thought was City Market/King Soopers, but I'm sure there has to be other deals out there. Are you staying at a resort that offers ski & stay discounted tickets?

check the supermarket thang first, then take whatever ski related affilaition ID cards you have with you. I show an NSP card at the ticket window and get 10 or 15% off. I'm sure psia or aasi cards would get the same treatment. that only works for one ticket per ID.

Thanks,
Do you have any buds in the Front Range?

If you find someone with a Vail resorts pass, they have 4 days of buddy passes available for friends, at $45 per day (almost half price).

Captain,

Excuse my ignorance, but what is Vail pass? My bro in law has 5 all year ski passes for his family at Breck. Does that qualify? If so, how do you get the buddy passes, if you know?

Thanks all,

Thanks all,
Buz: Vail pass is the 5-resorts pass (Vail, Breck, A-Basin, Keystone, Beaver Creek). Anyone with one of those gets 4 days of buddy tickets - ski tickets @ $45 per day.

So, if your broinlaw has a 5-resorts pass and not just a Breck pass (most get all the resorts), you're in business, provided you can convince him to give you the buddy tickets.
