WTB All Mountain Skis for Me and Wife

I'm relatively a new Bear on Epic Ski, and I hope someone out there can help me.

First, I have severe budget limitations. I am looking for skis for my wife, so I know they are at best going to be demo skis. I wish we could afford new though.

I'm 6' 1/2" (68" to my nose) 190 lbs and used to be a Level 8 skier, though I haven't skied in 10 years (never on a shaped ski). I need what is called an All Mountain ski. I was thinking somewhere in the 172-180 cm length?

My wife is 5' 11" (65" to her nose) 135-140 lbs. She is a level 4 skier, though she hasn't skied in 20 years (never on a shaped ski) and she may progress faster. She needs an All Mountain ski. 165-170 cm length?

We are going to Jackson Hole in February and the first day we're taking lessons. Day 2 we'll ski together, then she leaves. I may take another lesson on Day 3.

We're getting fitted for boots this weekend by a boot fitter that is listed on Epic Ski.

So, please let me know if you have anything available that would meet our needs. I really don't mind if the ski is even 3 or 4 years old as long as it meets our needs and is in very good shape.

Our budget is VERY limited, so please let me know what you have and the bottom line price you would accept.

Mark, hello again, just wonderin why you started this 2nd thread. I had thought that you got some good suggestions from the first thread?:

Thanks for monitoring my threads :-)

I'm wondering why you're wondering why I started this thread and why you didn't ask me your question back channel or via email instead of openly on the forum. No worries, just kind of weird to post that question as a response in the Want to Buy section.

Rather than go into a lengthy and somewhat personal explanation, suffice it to say that I'm still considering purchasing skis especially if I can get a pair of skis that are less than the cost of demoing skis.

Please be comforted that I appreciated everyone's advice and I am using it to evaluate skis that are more in my price range SHOULD I decide to buy skis.

So, if you or anyone else that you know has ANY of the skis listed in the other thread available for a price I can afford, I can end my search. Please post such a response here.

Regards,
Mark

175 Volant Machete Sin, 80 underfoot $85, no bindings but I could sell a set of 1300 Marker pistons which is what came off these. Less than 10 days on them, drilled once, real clean.
