Fischer RX Fire 8, 155 cm, with RailFlex bindings. Skied two runs in great conditions, like new. Reason for sale: Ski great, but would prefer these in next larger size. If interested, PM me.

These are excellent skis. If I'd bought them in the 163 cm length, they wouldn't be for sale. Fo any person who weighs about 140 lbs or less, any person who wants effortless short turns snd superb edge hold, these are winners.

This would be great for an aggressive girl or light/small guy. Good luck with the sale oboe.

I've responded to your PM, so now . . . tell us how you came up with the name TriMom217?

The story of TriMom217, NOT the Reader's Digest version

I've been doing triathlons since 1999. I started running, which lead to marathons, which lead to an incredible amount of boredom. Cross-training and triathlon go hand in hand and I was instantly hooked. A friend that I was training with suggested that I get a personalized plate for my car, TRIMOM. So I contacted the RMV only to find out that the plate was taken

Fast forward a few years later, I'm at a race in NY, Tupper Lake in the Adirondacks, and I see a white Suburban with a MA plate that reads, yes you know it: TRIMOM. So we're talking and I find out she lives about half a mile away from me. She invites me to train with her and a group that swim at our local lake in the summer. Lucky for me, I check the race results and find out that she races as an Elite! No way I can hang/train with her group of friends!

About the same time I log onto a few triathlon forums, first trinewbies.com (TNO) then slowtwitch.com (ST) and then beginnertriathlete.com (BT, has an AWESOME log feature). WOuldn't you know, the screen name trimom is taken at the first one I got to, so I added the 217 to 'personalize' it a bit. My DOB is 2-17 and I use trimom217 for my email address as well, telling my kids they have no excuse to ever forget my birthday!

So that's my long-winded way of saying I needed something other than a random computer-generated number after trimom.

Oh . . .kay. No question you're a long distance runner, tm217. Many of us here actually like your style - no mere sound bites. I'll be waiting for the complete exposition of how much you'll love the skis you'll buy from me.

...RX(Fire) 8

THE sweet length in that ski for our weight @medium speeds oboe! Bet you're now having a blast.
At least your long-winded stuff makes sense TM217...;-) Most of my LW_ed comes out, while on the mtn with friends, as typical spontaneous, German humor...
