Yep, I can't afford to get sued. I have taken all of my kids gear and put it up. Debating on becoming an Epic Ski supporter, to sell it in the Gear Swap, or I may just wait until the fall and sell it at the local swap.
But, instead of taking the gear away from your children, why don't you sign them up for a week long group ski course, or for a multi-weekend group ski course, every year for the next 5/6 seasons?
That was the way I learned "ski-etiquette".
To have an instructor telling me, over and over, that no, I couldn't start after a pause/ enter ain intersection witout looking upwards, that I should take care of the skiers below me, that I should stop in certain spots and not in others, that when skiing in a group on piste, the place to stop is below the last in the line, that off-piste the right place was above the last one instead, that I should always try to be in control and then, at last, teaching me the ski-techniques.
