Hello everyone. Ever sense I found out about Mad River Glen years ago I have always wanted to go. However, my dad, uncle, and cousin would always tell me that it's not somewhere I would ever want to go because they said that they don't make snow there and that there is no grooming. He told me that's why they call it "ski it if you can." I would always reply by saying the trail map shows green circles on it. But they would always keep on saying it's much too difficult a ski resort, yet none of them have ever gone there. By them telling me "ski it if you can," it makes me want to ski it so much more! I am a fairly good skier. I would say that I am above the intermediate skill level. I can do most black diamonds with no problems. I have only done about two or three double blacks in my lifetime and I remember struggling a bit on them. So I guess my question to you guys is, "Is it really as hard as my family is making it seem?" I would love to go there and I am considering going there not this coming weekend but next weekend.
