Dec 19th was one of the best days in snowbird for the past 2 years. Best this year so far. Also snowbird doesnt measure snow right at all. 7 inches today...yep my ass. It was really deep. face shots all day long, more coming the next couple days If you have time for last minute trip come here now. If you want a guide and great off trail coach look no further than me.

Just a bunch of powder shots....

yep 7inches of snow..Dan just came from whistler to teach at the bird.

I have allways liked Gad 2 best chairlift in the wasatch IMO. BTW I am not bad tree skier either.

you monkeys!!! (that's the best I could come up with) We were skiing 6 inches of pow over big, frozen bumps today at PCMR. Will come over Friday, planning for Alta. Any Bears want to join me let me know... My telechick pal called me today from LCC hooting. You dogs!!
P.S. Bushwhacker, maybe I'll even come over to the bird someday.. nice shots

I am suppose to be working friday...but I was suppose to be working today as well. If I am not working I will be skiing the bird. Not waisting my time traversing to ski a bump field at alta that will be tracked twice as fast as snowbird anyways. Your welcome to join us.

oh yeah BTW according to all the private messages I received on TGR the next TR will be marked as alta on both sites.

The people who skied both today said mineral basin and the rest of snowbird got hammered compared to the icey bump traverses at "A Lot of Traversing Around.

pretty funny. There are Alta people, and Snowbird people...
I have my discount card at Alta, haven't skied the Bird in years except in May- The TR's look fabulous, keep 'em comin'. I may spring for a retail ticket and come anyway. If this storm is as advertised, it won't matter where you are. Speaking of that, it seems everyone's getting hammered these days, East, West, North and South.

Looks fantastic! Can't wait to get on the powder (another month to go for Whistler.. ugg)

Skied Alta before and looks like I need to come back and try the Bird.

All that snow looks disgusting! Don't you get cold? Looks kind of hard to see. Where's a groomer and some sunshine when you need them:

Super sweet. The good news is that I won't be coming down the LCC this weekend because beaver is finally getting dumped on and opens on Saturday.

P.S. It sucks being a working stiff on days like this.

Looks great. I'll have to fire off an email to the friends I have working there to make sure they are taking advantage of this snow - they tend to work too much!

I was up there yesterday too. I agree, it seemed like there was alot more than 7" of new. Maybe their snow marker is in a windy spot. Hopefully they're right about the forecast tonight. I'll be up there tomorrow (friday) too.
