How to heat and refit boot liners?

I just tried on my ski boots for the first time since April and the fit was horrendous to say the least. I had pulled the liners then, reinstalled them and wow did they shrink or what!

My question is since if I head up to the ski resort in Vermont that I frequent, the ski shop guys take the boot in the backroom and heat it up (?), come back and the fit is much better (not great) so that I can ski.

Since my current comfort level would be a 1 on a scale of 1-10, 10being heaven and 1 being hell, how can I do this at home to improve the stretch of the inner liner? Stick them in the stove at 350 for 15 minutes???

Help before I get to ski this weekend............PLEASE!

take em to a shop, pay them a few bucks. also try just wearing the liners only to help stretch them out a bit first

You did put the footbeds and liners back in the right shells? I have seen too often left liner in right shell..
