I have the first year (blue) Watea 101s. I have them mounted with some movable 5-position Atomic bindings. I'm 6'5" and 215 lbs. I started with them set on center but found I liked them better set back a little. The last 10 cm of the ski curves up off the snow, and I like to work the back of the ski and felt like I wasn't getting any carve out of the rear end until I moved the bindings back. The settings seem to be in 1/4 inch increments and not mm. I have mine set 1/4" back, which probably isn't enough to make much difference but they feel better to me. I have now skied them for over a season and really like them in any deep or soft snow. The have a fairly soft even flex and work suprisingly well in the bumps. Because of their absence of camber and stiffness they pretty much suck on hard snow, but that's not what you got them for.
We've had some incredible dumpage the last couple of weeks and I've have the pleasure of using them in some very deep snow. I think you will really enjoy them. It sounds like you have the next year's model after mine, which I believe are a bit stiffer, and I think that will make them ski even better.
