I don't know if anyone here has been up there lately, but please do share your stories of endless deep pow. This season has been UNREAL. Last season in Mid-FEBRUARY they had about as much snow as they have now. 133 inches and counting, not to mention a big storm heading in on Saturday/Sunday. Im goin there next Friday and Saturday, anybody headin up??

I was there last week Dec 7-8 (Fri-Sat). There was good coverage pretty much everywhere, though some of the high-traffic spots had gotten scraped off and nasty.

In case you don't remember, the big snow that week was M-T-W.

We found some cut-up powder (not quite freshies, but close, still very fluffy) on Friday on some trails. By Saturday that was gone, but some of the less-popular woods still had pockets. (Some of the more convenient woods were pretty packed by then).

So I'd guess newenglandskier will have great conditions on Tuesday, may be largely over by the weekend (unless it snows again, which is always possible).

One other thing- we found surprisingly big differences in the weather between the two sides of the mountain. I don't know how common that is, but if the weather is lousy (cold fog) it may be worth going to the other side.
