Can't figure this one out, but each time I ski, next day my calf muscles are killing me. No one else in my group has this problem. Lousy ski technique, lack of stretching (which I do)?? Just can't figure it out.
Are they sore where the boot cuff contacts them (as in sore to the touch) or are they sore like muscles that have been used more than they're used to?
The former may come from sitting back against the back of the boots, a definite no-no technique you need to address.
The latter may be from too much tension in the feet, as in trying to grip the bottoms of the boots with your toes. If that's the case, try thinking about wiggling your toes while you're turning.
