Well I look at Clemens as an example. When the Sox let him go he was in a big decline, then went on to win Cy Youngs and World Series. Don't get me wrong, I still think he's one of the best pitchers in baseball history (as much as I dislike him) but the PED's sure seemed to help him. And it IS cheating. Its not cheating when they all are doing it. Its not cheating if its not against the rules (not before 91' I understand).

I think an elite athlete is elite because he goes above and beyond the common man in his commitment, dedication, risk taking, and training; its not just raw talent. If he wishes to go so far as to take drugs to increase his performance, I do not think that it is a fault in his character, I think it is and should be part of being the best you humanly can.
Foods are drugs, they directly affect your performance and mental ability, in that sense they are performance enhancers...its no different.
But then again I wear a full face helmet
