Does any one know where I could buy used Marker race plates from last year? They seem impossible to find. Thanks.

I think doublediamond223 was looking to sell a full setup (skis, plates, bindings) that would have contained what you are looking for. I don't know if he sold them or not though... You may want to PM him.

Still no luck . I hate looking at these skis. They sit in my room right next to my bed, makes me cry at night knowing that they cant be used. Anyone have any to spare, or know where to get some? I am really desperate, and my new GS skis dont like to be used all the time. Thanks.

If you end up needing to go new, here's a good deal:

$180? Nope, not buyin. Wayyy to much for plates, will go $120 max for new ones.

So you have skis worth a couple of hundred dollars that you cannot use unless you spring an extra couple of dollars for a set of plates? You won buying the skis and loose buying the plates; I'm sure you'll still be ahead. However, unmounted, unused skis are worth zip.

I know, I just dont want to put new plates on these because:

1) They are used skis
2) The new Marker plates for this year SUCK.

New plates are 33% thinner even though the old ones were still FIS/WC legal for the 50mm rule. No risers = 50mm on the dot.

Of course that won't allow you to adjust ramp angle...

Could still sneak it in. 55mm is the rule for the next 2 years.
