So I purchased a new pair a boots with a 1-finger fit and the first couple of days on hardpack I had no fit issues, however, on my third day we hit the opening of Vail's back bowls. The snow was deep, heavy and we skied hard the entire day. That is when I noticed some fit issues (mainly pain on the "6th toe" area on the side of my foot). This was an area that I had punched out on my old boots. When I was initially fitted with a custom footbed, the bootfitter recommended that I ski 15 days to let the liners pack out. So here I am several days after the Vail day and I still have some residual aching...should I still wait 15 days or should just get them punched out now?
