K2 Tru Luv Skis - For Whom?

I need to buy a new pair of skis. I've been reading good things about the 2007 K2 Tru Luv ski and am wondering if it's the ski for me. I've also found it on sale with the Marker IBC 11 binding at REI for $469. I've also found the 2006 K2 T9 True Luv with the Marker IBC 10 Binding for $229, which seems too true to believe. Is this a bargain?

I am an intermediate skier who skis mostly on the east coast (i.e. "packed powder") but will be going to Colorado in January. I have no desire to go really fast nor to ski moguls. I basically stick to groomed trails but if I'm fortunate to ski in powder, I'd like to be able to ski semi-good. I want to be a graceful skier and be able to turn efficiently. I am 50 (would like to skis to last a long time), 120 pounds and 5'4".

Any suggestions? Thanks. Holly

I think give what you've said that the Tru Luv would be a really nice ski for you. My wife and one of her best friends enjoyed them very much, and they are near your age/size. Terry (my wife) did upgrade to the mid-fat, but she lives here in Colorado...
