My wife is desperate to find me a Christmas gift this year that has to do with skiing. She has asked for my help in the form of suggestions. Since I’ve got new skis the last three years in a row I don’t think I want/need new skis this year. One thought, and this is where I need help….One pair of skis I got (Rossignol B3’s) have demo Axel 120 bindings on them. Is it worth buying regular binding and have these replaced? What is the main difference between demo bindings and regular bindings? I assume there is a weight difference do to the extra material in the demo binding but how much of a difference and would I be able to notice? Also, do demo binding effect the flex of the ski compared to regular bindings? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
