Snowbird 2/2-2/8

I'll be at Snowbird attending a conference - we get afternoons off !

Any particulars I should look for or avoid? No car but I understand I can hop a shuttle to Alta. I'm not an expert skiier so don't go advising me to take runs with 30 foot drops :.

when you look up the mountain you want to stay to the right side. There are plenty of nice, groomed intermediate runs, stay on the lower part of the mountain to start. Here's a warning- stay off the tram if the weather is bad, find out first. It can be very wicked up there(no visibility, biting cold, 60mph winds, and steep dropoffs at every turn!) and you would never know it at the base.
