snow vs. snow showers ???

I've always wondered what the difference is between a prediction of snow showers and snow.

My best guess would be snow would be a more consistant snowfall, and snow showers would be off and on snowing. I have no basis for that, just intuition, and I'm probably wrong.

Yeh, I think that's a pretty accurate description.

IMO, understanding the technical terms makes up a good portion of any learning curve.
