-your collection of crutches in the attic is almost as vast as the collection of old skis

- you remember Head ski poles but always bought the gold Scott racer pole

-your first pair of skis were all wood with a big ridge on the top

-you kept a stash of spare screw in edge segments

-your kids open the hall closet and ask if they can wear your old padded sweaters as a goof during spring skiing

-your Atomic ski collection includes Red Sleds, 210 yellow GS, and bright blue 205 Sl all "real race stock ie: race room cast offs,, stiff as a 2x4

- you keep the Atomics stored next to the Dynamics ( VR 7, 17 )

- your first pair of early Langes went soft in a month and were the height of ankle socks

- tag line "are you still lacing while others are racing" brings a smile to your face 

-you hear longthong and don't think of porn S&M

- the googles Robert Redford wears in Downhill Racer look familiar

-When you saw J.C. KIlly handing out the silver and gold medals for Hockey at Sochi you got all excited

When finally admitting that "Shaped Skis" weren't just for people that couldn't bend a "real" ski, you knocked a whole 13cm off your 203 Slalom "GS cheater" skis for the Beer league......

 

Dynastar S9  / 203 to K2 Merlin VI  / 190.

 

185 - 190 were bump skis .. LOL

 

That 184 Scenario came Later.......
