5 skis, 1 offer. The market has spoken.

The TGR method of offering within the community first at reasonable prices seems like a better method. Just my opinion.

Snofun,

After you learn to count is when your opinion might matter.

umm... thanks.

That was pretty lame.

You opened a thread to link your ebay account.

then... you bumped it...

twice...

and now you are attacking snofun for calling you on it.

Why did you even post here? Obviously you never had any intention on trying to hook up a bear. You just pawned this forum into looking at your ebay account... that you bumped twice.

did a bear buy your boards? Did you really benefit from this thread?

Your right, I should only sell where there is a balance between seller & buyers and where adequate liquidity exists.

I didn't know that providing charity was required (at least in some peoples minds).

I have done a wide range of trades. I have done them with integrity, am I supposed to every non-buyers happy?

What is your point?

All I know is I'm buying a new ski that I really like and several buyers are getting some great gear at excellent prices.

The swap rules specifically say you can spam your own ebay auctions as much as you want.

If someone wanted to make an offer, and got turned down in favor of ebay that might be worth crying over. Didn't happen. No harm no foul?

I personally think that BSCV is nuts to be getting rid of all those great skis. Its like you are selling an entire quiver
What gives man? And what are you replacing them with?

And since Gear Trade has been restricted it isn't going to be that place anymore. Even supporters can see that.

Come on' guys, its his stuff, its up to him to set pricing, it's up to us to make offers or pass on the goods. I don't understand why you would give him a hard time. The snow is falling and we just need to make some tracks.

Yeah, you're right. By the end there were a total of 3 bids total on your 5 auctions. Impressive. (while they still didn't meet your min bid) Congrats. A real shrewd operator.

Before you call me on calling you, maybe we should call the TGR price police. Results were pathetic - no? Even after trying to shill the ebay auction here, as others noted. Look, I could have been interested in the Contact 11's, but at that price - wtf? I'll just go buy some new ones.

Ok, maybe my opinon doesn't count for much in your opinion, but I'd be REALLY embarrassed if I had that result after trying flog these things in two seperate forums (which is everybody else's opinion). Hint - They're WAAAAAAY overpriced.

OK, Whatever. Try again. Just pick one or the other place to flog these things, and don't go all apopletic when it's noted that it's not exactly a good deal.

Lighten up everyone. If you think something isn't for you..walk away. If someone asks (in YOUR opinion) too much for something...walk away..or make an offer.

What is the big deal? Barrett is perfectly within his rights and the guidelines with the posts..and bumps.
