And not a word from WTFH? It was the same on "4th of July".

Thanks for the good wishes Matteo!

I'll do my best to not overeat, but I can't make any promises.

I've often wondered just how much I DO eat on a holiday like this........maybe I'll weigh myself this morning and then later tonight, or maybe not

I always overeat during festivities...

That's pretty good when the Italians are the first to wish a Happy Thanksgiving on the most of American holidays.

Thanks Mateo. For remembering and hope everyone everywhere has a very nice day with family and friends, giving thanks for all we have.

Yes, I ate too much of everything. Now I'm kicking back watching Football, having a toddy and enjoying the remainder of the day.

One meal down, and one to go.
I've gained 4.5 lbs, thus far.

Keep it up and your name will be "Fatchick" instead of Trekchick.

4.5 pounds? wow!

Thanksgiving just wouldn't be complete without listening to this at least once....

OT...
Listening to the song, a light bulb went off...
It's the same music as in a song that a German showman (Stefan Raab) was singing a few years ago...Der Maschen-Draht-Zaun (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maschen-Draht-Zaun)
The music base is the same!
And wikipedia says so as well:

Die Melodie des Titels stammt von dem Lied Alice's Restaurant von Arlo Guthrie.

Beleive it or not, I bought that CD...

Thanksgiving

Thankyou NOBODY/Matteo. My family comes from Cuneo Italy so we're sort of related.

Its been a great Thanksgiving day and I've been happy to embrace the day with family and friends. I am truly blessed!!!

Yeah, Kneale, I eat two Thanksgiving dinners, and though I had added a few pounds, and perhaps an inch or two, I tend to be active enough to burn it off as fast as I put it on.

I hope all my bear friends have enjoyed this day as much as I have!

So you're not a first gen skier, after all...
(There are some ski resorts in Cuneo's province)
